Pre-Construction

1 : Client Surveys :

Forms you complete giving you a jump start on the decision making process. With the responses you provide, Augustus Contracting can begin the job with the most possible information.

2 : The Bid :

The estimated price proposed to carry out your project. Includes a brief description of the work to be performed by Augustus Contracting and a breakdown of the cost of your project and its allowances.

3 : Project Allowances :

A list of average prices that are in the bid for items of variable cost. An example may be a $10,000 allowance for appliances. If you spend less than $10,000, the bid number drops. If you spend more, it increases.

4 : Choice of Contract :

Choose between a Fixed Cost or a Cost Plus Contract. The final contract legally protects both you and Augustus Contracting.

5 : Detailed Schedule :

A detailed outline of your project by stage. Lets you know what is coming up and when. Graphically illustrates optimal deadlines for client decisions.

6 : Job Book :

A bound book for your jobsite where each phase is broken down into separate sheets of information allowing space for notation throughout the project. This book never leaves the jobsite and allows the client, the contractor, the leads and subs to make notes about each phase including change orders, material specifications, requests, and any changes to the project.
